HELLBOY

I did this piece for a local fundraiser called Heroes4Heroes that was held on the Friday night of the Wizard-World Texas con. It was in the nice Diamond Club in the Texas Rangers Ballpark.
I was invited to it the day before the show from Fanboy Radio, so I stayed up til 3am that night working on this, and then took it to work to draw on my lunch break. Unfortunately because my art style is so time consuming it wasn't enough of a head-start to get in done by the end of the show. I was disappointed by that, but the show was such an amazing experience for me anyway. I was creating work next to Marc Silvestri, Brian Denham, James O'Barr, Phil Hester, Mitch Breitweiser, Marko Djurdjevic and the fellas at ArtLoveMagic.

I'm at the 1:23 mark for a few seconds. I've always wanted to draw Hellboy, so I'm pretty happy with this one. I think it just doesn't feel like Hellboy without it being in Mignola's style, so I tried to blend his style with my own. I'll probably color this at some point.
