I just checked my DA gallery, and I haven't submitted a full-size graphite drawing since my 2007 Hellboy! WHOA! Everything I've done since then (Besides Bender, who was small) has been digital, which doesn't account for much. I have a few potential commissions coming up soon, and I've felt the itch to really draw for a long time, so in the interests of getting back in the groove, I've started my first 18x24 pencil drawing in years. I'm excited! I hope I've still "got it". I had fun drawing Bender, but this is a large portrait with a full background. Gonna take awhile.
It's a fan-art of a popular Star Wars character.
Haven't drawn a Star Wars piece for MANY years, so it's looooong overdue. I've actually done the preliminary layouts for a few different Star Wars portraits I wanna do. So once I get my confidence back, hopefully I'll keep my momentum going and knock them all out! Wish me luck!
Oh, and I'll make scans as I go to show the progress like I used to do.
I wanna jazz up my journal skin, but first I gotta learn how to do that.
So, uh, how're you?
